- Continue to ensure that Hudson’s financial condition remains stable and in good overall fiscal shape
- Work with department heads to make sure there is a clear, participatory budgeting process that results in an accurate and predictable reflection of spending and revenues
- Work with the executive team to develop and implement a 3- to 5-year strategic planning process that gives visibility to longer-term budgetary issues and implications, and informs investment priorities and decisions
- Make sure that the budget is adhered to through effective tracking and reporting
EXPERIENCE
- Management executive with more than 20 years experience in strategic planning, budget development and implementation
- Developed and managed budgets in excess of $80 million in revenue and $26 million in spending
- Owned and operated two small businesses in Hudson
- Degree from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania
EFFECTIVE MANAGEMENT
- Successfully developed and managed multi-million dollar budgets in both large corporations (Clorox, Playtex) and startups (iVillage)
- Significant experience partnering with functional departments to develop plans and budgets
- Personnel management responsibility for staffs of up to 40 employees
