As your Treasurer, I will be dedicated to the well-being of Hudson. I will use my extensive experience in budgeting and strategic planning to ensure that the City operates smoothly, maintains a strong fund balance and achieves its long-term goals. I will work hard to minimize your tax burden through responsible, disciplined spending.

Responsible, Disciplined Spending
  • Continue to ensure that Hudson’s financial condition remains stable and in good overall fiscal shape
  • Work with department heads to make sure there is a clear, participatory budgeting process that results in an accurate and predictable reflection of spending and revenues
  • Work with the executive team to develop and implement a 3- to 5-year strategic planning process that gives visibility to longer-term budgetary issues and implications, and informs investment priorities and decisions
  • Make sure that the budget is adhered to through effective tracking and reporting

  • Management executive with more than 20 years experience in strategic planning, budget development and implementation

  • Developed and managed budgets in excess of $80 million in revenue and $26 million in spending

  • Owned and operated two small businesses in Hudson

  • Degree from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania

  • Successfully developed and managed multi-million dollar budgets in both large corporations (Clorox, Playtex) and startups (iVillage)

  • Significant experience partnering with functional departments to develop plans and budgets

  • Personnel management responsibility for staffs of up to 40 employees

  • Will work in a non-partisan manner for what is best for the city and its residents

  • Team player with demonstrated ability to develop consensus among different constituencies

  • Ability to present complex financial issues in a clear and concise manner
